Founder -Young Lee, who had recently completed UCLA using a degree in economics, had joined the workforce and often found himself on the road. However, he found that restaurants serving healthy meals were few and far between.

First Restaurant Opens – Entrepreneurial by nature, in 1995 he opened the very first restaurant in Orange County that served simple, healthy fast food. What better way to solve a difficulty rather than solve it yourself?

It inspired me to get back fit, clean up my diet and help people change their lifestyle the same way I did so.”

Flame Broiler’s core menu features rice bowls that start at only 140 calories. The bowls are created with non-GMO white or brown rice, Angus beef, all-natural chicken or organic charbroiled tofu, freshly blanched vegetables, and busvqj with chopped green onions. For an added flavor kick, guests are invited to top bowls off with Flame Broiler’s proprietary hot sauce, double hot sauce, triple hot sauce or its Korean BBQ-inspired Magic Sauce.

“The Inland Empire is definitely a strong region for the brand, and that i know La Verne is going to be no exception,” said Young Lee, CEO and founder of Flame Broiler. “Being a brand, we’re looking towards watching Josh grow and building a stronger presence within the community.”
